Why Some Jewelry Orders Take Longer to Ship

At Starlimi, we want our customers to understand that some jewelry items—especially rings, personalized pieces, and specialty designs—may require additional processing time before they are shipped.

Unlike many ready-to-ship products, certain rings are made or prepared specifically for each order. Additional time may be needed to confirm the ring size, prepare the setting, source specific stones or materials, complete engraving or personalization, perform quality inspections, and carefully package the finished piece. Some jewelry may also be produced by a specialized manufacturer or artisan rather than being held in our regular inventory.

Ring Sizing and Customization

Rings are particularly likely to require additional processing because size matters. If a ring is not already available in the requested size, it may need to be resized, manufactured, or specially ordered. Personalized rings, engraved rings, wedding bands, and other made-to-order pieces may require additional production time.

Quality and Inspection

We believe jewelry should be carefully inspected before it reaches you. Additional processing time may allow the item to be checked for proper sizing, stone placement, setting security, engraving accuracy, finish, and overall quality.

Shipping Time vs. Processing Time

Please note that processing time and shipping time are different. Processing is the time required to prepare your jewelry for shipment. Shipping time begins after the item has been completed and handed over to the shipping carrier.

For this reason, a jewelry order may take longer to arrive than an item that is already in stock and ready to ship.
